Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of ashrt.link (the "service"). By using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
The service
ashrt.link lets you create short, trackable links and QR codes. The Free plan requires an account with a verified email address, or a supported OAuth account that supplies a verified email. Verification is required before permanent links and account features are enabled.
Your account
- Provide accurate information and keep your password and API key secret.
- You're responsible for activity under your account and the links you create.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- We may require email verification and apply device or network limits to reduce automated abuse.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to create or distribute short links that:
- point to malware, phishing, or other malicious content;
- facilitate spam, fraud, or deceptive practices;
- contain or link to illegal content, or infringe others' rights;
- harass, threaten, or harm others.
We may disable links or accounts that violate these terms, and may cooperate with lawful requests. We may use automated abuse checks, destination blocklists, and rate limits to protect the service and its reputation.
Temporary guest links
The service may offer a limited temporary guest-link flow for trying the product. Guest links are not the Free plan, may expire, have tighter limits, and may require a verified account before they can be kept or managed permanently.
Paid plans & billing
- Paid plans are recurring subscriptions billed through Stripe at the price shown at checkout.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
- We may change pricing with notice; changes apply to future billing periods.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running but provide it "as is" without guaranteed uptime. We may modify or discontinue features at any time.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ashrt.link is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the service or from links created by users. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. The "last updated" date reflects the current version; continued use means you accept the changes.
