Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of ashrt.link (the "service"). By using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
The service
ashrt.link lets you shorten URLs and, with an account, track click statistics. Shortening is available without an account; analytics, custom aliases, and link management require a free account.
Your account
- Provide accurate information and keep your password and API key secret.
- You're responsible for activity under your account and the links you create.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to create or distribute short links that:
- point to malware, phishing, or other malicious content;
- facilitate spam, fraud, or deceptive practices;
- contain or link to illegal content, or infringe others' rights;
- harass, threaten, or harm others.
We may disable links or accounts that violate these terms, and may cooperate with lawful requests. We don't actively monitor every link, but we act on reports.
Anonymous links
Links created without an account are not tied to a user and can't be edited or deleted by you afterward. If you want to manage a link or see its stats, create an account before shortening.
Pro plan & billing
- Pro is a recurring subscription billed through Stripe at the price shown at checkout.
- It renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
- We may change pricing with notice; changes apply to future billing periods.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running but provide it "as is" without guaranteed uptime. We may modify or discontinue features at any time.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ashrt.link is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the service or from links created by users. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. The "last updated" date reflects the current version; continued use means you accept the changes.
